Meet Koby

Certified All Levels Instructor Therapist Dr Vodder School

Voted Massage Therapist of the Year in 2008, Linda 'Koby' Blanchfield is one of North America's Pioneer Instructors in Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage and is a Certified Instructor in the Vodder Method at the highest level internationally. A beloved and popular teacher and mentor in high demand. 

She graduated from the 2400hr program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT), in 1990, and has maintained a private practice ever since.

Koby was first introduced to Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), by Rober Harris, Director of Dr. Vodder School International. Intrigued by the research, she began applying MLD and was impressed by the results. 

She did the second half of her training in 1992 with Professor Hildegard Wittlinger. An original student of Dr Vodder.

Since 1992, Koby has focused on treatment of Lymphatic pathologies that include treatment of Lymphoedemas, pre and post surgical interventions, trauma, would care, area and post natal care.

In addition to maintaining her clinical standards, Koby has accomplished four levels of teacher certification with Dr Vodder School and Dr Vodder Akademie.

Koby's students have included a variety of health care professionals from institutions such as The Mayo Clinic, Stanford University Hospital, Ottawa General, Jikei University School of Medicine, as well as those in smaller clinics and private practice.

Koby has enjoyed teaching all levels of classes in North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and The Philippines and Brazil.
